The nearest train station to Tweddle Farm is Horden, which is 5 miles away.
Getting There By Car
Tweddle Farm can be reached by road in two ways. The first is by leaving the A1 at Junction 61 and taking the exit towards Bowburn A177. Once you hit Shincliffe Village you'll see a sign for the A181 where you'll turn right. Stay on this road until you reach Castle Eden and then a sign for Blackhall Colliery B1281. Turn left here and follow the signs for Tweddle Farm.
Alternatively you can take the A19 route, following the Castle Eden and turning off the A181 junction. From there you can just follow the signs for Blackhall Colliery and Tweddle Farm.

Tweddle Park has its own car park which is free of charge to all visitors.
