6 Steps for a Simple Skincare Routine
Your skin goes through it every single day; the UV rays, pollution, the moving of muscles on a regular basis. All that is bound to take a toll on you at some point, age does ultimately catch up with us in the end but at the moment, the aim is to age like fine wine! A few steps every day can make a massive difference to your skin and your confidence, so be slaying it all day, every day with our six tips and tricks for a simple skincare routine!
1. Cleansing is caring
Before we get to the skincare routine, if you didn’t know, you have to clean your face! If you don’t, you’re just going to mix dirt and all sorts of gunk into your skin, and that’s going to do nothing for you, no matter how extensive the skincare regime is. Cleansing is non-negotiable. It’s all about finding the right cleanser for your skin type.
If you have sensitive skin, reach for a gentle, fragrance-free cleanser. For oily skin? A foaming cleanser will cut right through the grease and dry skin needs a moisturising cleanser! It’s quite simple really, but make sure you know your skin type beforehand.
Double cleansing is the key here, and just like the name suggests, it’s cleaning your face twice. The first cleanse is usually done with an oil-based cleanser that removes the makeup and the second cleanse removes impurities and leaves your face feeling happy and ready for some TLC.
