Refurbished Laptops
With everything from MacBook Pros designed to cope with video, photo and music editing to lightweight Samsung Chromebooks to work on the go, our range of refurbished laptops offer great variety at even better prices. With laptops from Dell, HP as well there's loads of choice for which laptop to buy.
What Type of Laptop Should I Get?
That depends what you'll be using your laptop for! If you're working from home and want to keep to a budget, a simple Windows laptop should get the job done. You could even get a Chromebook which has been stripped back to the essential features to get you online as quickly as possible.
If you're looking at doing work like video or photo editing and want a laptop that can handle a little more it may be worth looking at a MacBook or MacBook Pro. Apple MacBooks tend to have a bit more under the bonnet while still remaining sleek and easy to use.
What does HDD, SDD and RAM mean?
HDD (hard disc drive) and SDD (solid state drive) are to do with how much you computer can store. Be it documents, videos, photos or games, you'll need this capacity to store them and generally laptop drives will range from 128GB to 1TB. SSDs may sometimes be smaller but contain no moving points and operate a lot faster than a standard hard drive.
RAM or Random Access Memory has nothing to do with storage but is where your computer will store tasks for the processor to get to. The more RAM you have, the more tasks your processor can take on and the better your laptop will perform with more demanding work.
Why Buy A Refurbished Laptop?
One of the first things you'll notice about refurbished products is the price - not only are refurbished cheaper than their brand new counterparts, you'll also be able to get an older model (Apple tend to only sell the most recent MacBook models brand new for example). As well as that, refurbished products are better for the environment as it doesn't require sourcing new materials and manufacturing a new laptop!
